In 2011 Canada’s electronics industry created the Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA), as the national, not-for-profit entity chartered with improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Canada’s industry-led and regulated electronics stewardship programs. EPRA Vision, Mission and Mandate
The vision of EPRA is to be recognized as the leading operator of environmentally responsible, regulated, cost effective programs for end-of-life electronic products.
As an industry-led not-for-profit organization, we enable:
- Businesses and consumers to manage their electronics responsibly
- Obligated stewards to achieve regulatory compliance
Our mandate is to provide a national electronics end-of-life program for Canada, which recognizes the uniqueness of each Provincial Regulation and appropriate stakeholders.
